Field To Boardroom 2 (FTBR 2): Technology Series, is a technology conference created to provide resources, networks, and opportunities to Black and Brown tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and students. This three-day event will focus on the latest advancements in tech, as well as, top issues facing the Black and Brown tech community, including representation and business ownership. The program will feature presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, a pitch competition, after parties and musical performances.

Larry Okey Onyejekwe Jr. MD, JD earned a Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law, and a Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University. He served in the Iraq war as a Lieutenant Colonel, practiced law as an IP Litigator, and co-founded a company that developed a full-service vaccination management software for Pediatric and Family Medicine Clinics. Today, Dr. Onyejekwe Jr. is Vice President of Healthcare Ops and Medical Affairs at 23andMe.
Why aren't there more Black-Owned technology companies? Our panel will venture to address this question along with other hurdles facing Black IT Professionals. The discussion will incorporate participation from the audience in hopes to inspire fruitful dialog and uncover potential ideas and solutions.

Prize money in the amount of $5,000, and $1,500 will be awarded to the winner and runner-up respectively.
